What happens at a Healthy Brain Workshop for Cancer?

We invite you to have fun while you enhance memory, sharpness, and focus, even reduce the mental fog of chemo or other treatments, or no treatment at all! Honestly, with a small group for support and interesting interaction, our brain exercises are fun, and they work!!

We include tips on nutrition and other lifestyle factors that can enhance your brain function. In our Healthy Brain Workshop for Cancer, you will learn a variety of breathing techniques to enhance your brain function as well. The brain exercises enhance your thinking while you are in the workshop, and then they are an easy and excellent way to continue this improvement during the week as you apply them to your life. Join us for fun brain exercises with a small group of LIKE-MINDED people!

One of the most common issues for cancer patients during and after treatment is clarity of mind. It is so common that we have coined the term Chemo Fog. Chemo fog is just like it sounds: a foggy, unclear feeling in your thoughts and perceptions. But it doesn’t take chemo to feel the need to clear your mind! So many patients and non-cancer patients complain of trouble with memory, clarity, sharpness, and speed of thinking. Even if something is stored in your memory, you sometimes don’t remember until after the fact, or you have trouble with specific words and people’s names, called word-finding.

No commitment needed. You can attend as long as you feel it’s beneficial. We have other groups that may better fit your needs. See all our events.

All of our workshops, webinars, and support groups are completely free to attend. If you can and would like to donate, so we can help other cancer survivors, you are more than welcome to support us.
